The SportWest Awards are Western Australia’s premier sports awards and enable the community to recognise excellence in sport and celebrate the achievements of WA sportspeople and administrators.
The awards will be held in February 2022 where nine awards will be presented, including the new Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries Sports Administrator of the Year. Other categories include:
• WA Sports Star
• Rebel Sport Junior Sports Star
• Team of the Year
• KPMG Coach of the Year
• Official of the Year
• Roobix Service to Sport – May Campbell Medal
• Community Club of the Year - John Gilmour Medal
• DLGSC Sports Administrator of the Year
• Healthway Healthy Club Award
Proof of Vaccination Requirement
Proof of vaccination or a medical exemption will be required to attend the SportWest Awards at Optus Stadium in line with WA State Government requirements.
All attendees at SportWest Awards aged 16 and over will be required to show the documentation, including photo ID, at entry. Information on how to obtain and display proof of vaccination is available here.
