Bring your children to enjoy reading to a dog.
Story Dogs is a reading support program where trained volunteers and accredited dogs listen to primary school children reading.
As part of Tasmania Reads, drop-in to meet a Story Dog at Hobart Library, or book a slot to read to one of the dogs.

If you need help to register, contact your local library.
To help make a successful event:
- Don't come if you're unwell
- Let us know if you can't come - we'll cancel your booking so others can register instead.
Accessibility details:
- Tell us if you need assistance or if you'll be accompanied by a support person
- There are two designated accessible parking spaces next to the library, with a 2-hour parking limit
- The library has a wheelchair accessible elevator
- An accessible restroom is available
- Parking is available in Melville Street, across the road from the Library.
