Learn some study tips to get you off to a good start: time management, expectations for independent learning and knowing where to go if you need help. Student mentors and Language and Learning Advisers will be on hand to answer your questions. This session is for all new students.
At the end of this session, students will:
- Have a good understanding of the study skills required at university
- Know how to find Study Support resources to help develop their academic skills, such as the academic skills guides, the Deakin Guide to Referencing, UniStart, Preparing to Succeed and Smarthinking
- Know about Deakin's Study Support services and how to access them.
