The business master networker who has made every single networking mistake possible.

Networking and I haven’t always been friends…

I was absolutely rubbish at networking with virtually zero people skills, and I constantly embarrassed myself when I tried talking to people.

The thing I was good at despite my painful shyness… was my almost insatiable thirst in learning the English language properly (surprisingly it is my third language) and being determined to learn how to communicate with people well.

The best three things I’ve ever done…

1. Face networking head-on - when I started networking almost 50 years ago, I was afraid of looking like an idiot and totally embarrassing myself, but I leapt into every possible networking opportunity I could find.

2. Learning from my mistakes - every time I stumbled (sometimes it felt like falling into an abyss), instead of beating myself up, I always asked myself - “How could I have done that better or differently?”

3. Having a lot of perseverance - I knew… if I could get good at networking, it would help me in every aspect of my life.

The moral of the story…

Everyone, particularly people in business, deserve the right to be on top of their communication and relationship building, no matter how much or how little knowledge they think they have, or whatever stage of life they are in…

So here I am today, doing what I need to do with a lifetime of insights and understanding, helping those who want to make a difference in their business and life.

Death to poor communication is my motto.
