During the first part of the session we will introduce ourselves and identify the specific learning adventure that awaits. Get excited because you are about to uncover what you want to gain from this experience.

Topics covered in this course

Reviewing Pre Assignment

In this session, participants will share with each other what they have written in response to their pre-assignment, while making use of the kinds of questions we’ve already described, thus synthesising and elaborating their new thoughts while functioning as a sort of peer tutor for one another.

Navigating the Transition

In this session, as participants begin shifting from employee to supervisor their role increasingly needs to change; questions such as ‘How we earn my employees’ respect as a supervisor?’ will be addressed, as well as ‘How do I find my authority while remaining empathetic?’

Supervisor Responsibilities

Over the course of this session, what are their responsibilities? What are the three areas in which they feel accountable?

Attitudes and Behaviours

The workgroup that a supervisor handle and the work environment is their creation and this session will dig deep to show and explain how participants can achieve it. In this session we will allow participants to explore ways- A supervisor can create work atmospheres. - A supervisor can motivate themselves. - A supervisor can keep abreast of knowledge. By the end of this session everyone will be better nurtured so they can succeed!

Setting Objectives

This session will encourage motivation and help participants achieve success using the SPIRIT approach to setting a goal. Learn techniques for making progress towards big life changes.

Planning for Achievements

Participants will discover how to be effective organizers of learning so that they can plan for short and long term initiatives. They will receive feedback on how to manage time and communicate effectively through email and come to an understanding of the elements of an effective blueprint.

Workshop Wrap-up

The workshop concludes with reflection on what’s been learnt and how these insights might be applied back home, and incorporates Question and Answer sessions between the instructors and the participants.
