Delivering healthcare and protecting civilians in conflict zones
As global health leaders, we are acutely aware of the essential role of healthcare in meeting community need and delivering critical health services and humanitarian aid in times of crisis.
This year, the Sydney Peace Foundation awarded the 2024 Sydney Peace Prize to the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies for saving lives in conflict zones and upholding International Humanitarian Law.
Join our discussion on the challenges of delivering health care and emergency aid in conflict areas and hear from panellists with particular insights into navigating these complexities.
Hosted by the University of Sydney's Faculty of Medicine and Health, in partnership with Sydney Peace Foundation, Sydney Law School, and Western Sydney University, with guests from the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
