Debra Oswald Bio: Debra Oswald is a two-time winner of the NSW Premier's Literary Award, creator of the TV series Offspring and author of novels Useful, The Whole Bright Year, The Family Doctor and One Hundred Years of Betty. She has written TV scripts, nine children's books and many stage plays including Gary's House, Mr Bailey's Minder and Stories in the Dark. Debra performed her one-woman show, Is There Something Wrong With That Lady?, at Griffin Theatre in 2021 and Ensemble Theatre in 2023.
Kathryn Heyman Bio: Dr Kathryn Heyman is an award-winning author of nine books including the internationally acclaimed memoir, Fury, currently in development as a feature film. Heyman's work has won and been nominated for many awards in Australia and the UK. Kathryn has taught writing around the world including the University of Oxford, and continues to mentor emerging writers through the Australian Writers Mentoring Program. Her seventh novel, Circle of Wonders, will be published by 4th Estate/HarperCollins in 2026.
