Tai Chi Well-Being Workshops
Thursdays from 5 June - 26 June
Time: 11:45am - 12:45pm
Cost: $6 per session (payable by card on the day)
This event is strictly for participants aged 65 and over.
Join us for a series of Tai Chi workshops designed to enhance well-being and improve quality of life. Based on Dr. Paul Lam’s Tai Chi for Health programs, these sessions will focus on key health concerns, including falls prevention, arthritis management, memory support, and mental well-being. Tai Chi’s gentle, flowing movements improve balance, flexibility, and strength while promoting relaxation and cognitive function.
Workshops will be a mix of information, discussion and practice. Wear loose comfortable clothing and comfortable shoes. Please note, you can do Tai Chi from a seated position if that works best for you. Whether you’re looking to reduce joint pain, prevent falls, boost memory, or support mental health, these workshops provide a safe, accessible, and enjoyable way to enhance both body and mind. We hope you can join us.
