The aim of the festival is to hold an annual event that educates the community about the importance of bees to our environment and economy. We aim to involve various groups in the community to be part of the event, which will grow to be recognisable throughout Tasmania and Australia in the years to follow. The Festival will showcase our area, the bond we have within our community, the environment we live in and will develop awareness of the importance of bees to everyone’s general well-being.

The money raised from the Gala Bee Ball supports the cost of the Nubeena Bee Festival and keeps it a free event for attendees.
