These athletes have moved to Townsville to train at the pioneering Sharon Finnan-White First Nations Academy of Excellence, where they strive for athletic greatness and gain vital life and leadership skills.
Some of these young women are single mothers or have taken on the role of guardians to their younger siblings, showing immense courage and dedication.
Our keynote speaker, Sharon Finnan-White AOM, an inspiring Dunghutti and Gumbaynggirr woman, Australian Netball Diamond, and a voice of resilience and empowerment in the Indigenous community, will share her vision for the Academy.
Your ticket includes your donation as there will be no fundraising on the night. Also, everyone is welcome. We'd love to meet you.
