Event Description: Hands on tutorial in the use of online email including deleting emails, blocking junk emails, attaching attachments, using tools to identify important emails and navigating folders.
Laptops will be provided for trainees to follow along and learn new skills.
Public libraries are a partnership between Local Government and the Queensland Government through State Library of Queensland.
- Signup to an online email provider (e.g. Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo) or login to your existing email account (please bring email account and password details if you have them to the class)
- Reply effectively to emails
- Forward to include attachments
- Learn about CC and BCC
- Understand how the deleted email folder works
- Blocking junk emails
- Learn about email folders including drafts, junk, sent and archive
