Join comedian and agave master David Crisante as he dives into the vibrant world of smooth tequila and smoky mezcal.


You'll sample FIVE premium tequilas in this celebration of the world's greatest spirit.*


As you sip on expertly crafted tequila and artisanal mezcal, you'll be taken on a journey that delves into the origins of tequila to the modern day margarita.


This show and tasting experience features in comedy festivals across Australia.


It is perfect for the curious and adventurous. Bring your mates, dates, or even come solo and join in the fun!


You'll learn a lot about tequila including:

  • whether you should use lime and salt every time you drink tequila
  • whether it better to shot, sip or mix tequila
  • and whether you can minimise your hangovers when drinking tequila (yes, you can!!)

Frequently asked questions

How do we get to the venue?

242 Riley Street, Surry Hills, is a 10-minute walk from Central Station or Museum Station. It is a 5-minute walk from Oxford Street. And it's a 20-minute walk from Town Hall. There is substantial on-street parking, and it's relatively easy to find a spot. Most spots are paid parking.

What are the tequilas?

The tequilas are all top-grade - we will only be providing you with the good stuff!

Is there an intermission?

While there isn't an intermission, there is a substantial amount of tasting, which will give you time to mingle, chill out and soak up the vibe in between all the laughs.

Will there be audience participation?

Of sorts. It's a tasting show, so there's going to be a lot of interaction. But you don't need to be fearful of being picked on, made fun of, or any of the other elements that might make you nervous about going to a comedy show. We are strictly good vibes only.

I want to do comedy - how do I get involved?

We teach stand-up comedy, including a course that has a graduate show where you can do your own stand-up comedy set. We also have improv courses and classes. Visit our website or see our other listings on Eventbrite for more.
