About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

Maintaining soil health is essential for sustainable agriculture and food security.

Throughout history, humans have used agricultural inputs, from the earliest use of manures to industrialised fertiliser production. But now, the world’s agricultural systems are being threatened by degradation and pollution.

Join us at our next BrisScience as Dr Nicole Robinson explores new developments in revitalising our soils, including the use of novel materials – such as biodegradable plastics – to support sustainable crop production.
