Welcome to The Gong Show - Where dreams are made (or shattered) in just three minutes. Comedians take the stage armed with nothing but their best jokes, but in this arena, only the funniest survive.

Come join us at Comedy Lounge for a night of laughter and entertainment like no other.

Not impressed by the comedian on stage? The dreaded Gong will cut them down, and it’s game over. No mercy. No second chances. The audience holds all the power—cheer for the legends or demand the gong for the bombs.

The best comedians of the night will take home their share of the $500 cash prize pool, but only if they can survive the chaos. It’s raw, ruthless, and ridiculously funny. Can they conquer the crowd, or will the gong have the last laugh? There’s only one way to find out.

Frequently asked questions

Can I buy tickets on the door?

Yes, although we recommend buying online to secure your spot as shows can sell out quickly. If tickets are still available, they can be purchased at the venue.

Is it allocated seating?

General admission is first in best dressed. For the private table option, your seating is reserved but we do ask that you arrive at least 20 minutes before the show is due to commence.

Can I organise a group booking?

For groups of 10 or more please notify info@comedylounge.com.au with the name, number of people and the date you will be attending. We will do our best to seat you together. For smaller groups please arrive 30 minutes early for the best chance of sitting together.

What food and drink options are available?

Our bar is fully stocked with a variety of tap beers, bottled beers, spirits, wines, and classic cocktails. Our kitchen offers delicious pizzas and a range of light snacks that can be ordered before and during the show and delivered directly to your table.

How can I participate in The Gong Show?

You can register for a spot to perform at The Gong Show by signing up on our website or contacting us directly at comedians@comedylounge.com.au - Both new comedians and experienced performers are welcome!

When should I arrive?

Doors open at 6:00 PM. We recommend arriving by 6:40 PM to ensure you are seated and ready for the show, which starts at 7:00 PM.

Is there a refund policy?

Refunds are available up to 7 days before the event. Please note that Eventbrite's fee is nonrefundable.

Where is the comedy club located?

Comedy Lounge is located at 413 Murray St, Perth WA 6000. Look for the yellow spotlight in the sky and head down the laneway to find our entrance.
