Join us for Wetlands Stride, a free, family-friendly fun run where all are welcome to walk, run, or ride at a morning filled with movement and connection as we celebrate the stunning new wetlands at The Grove and the Dianella Community Centre Open Day.

Get active, get connected, and enjoy the fresh air!
Whether you're up for a run or a relaxed stroll, there's something for everyone. Choose from:

  • A 4km Wetlands Run for those who want to stride it out
  • A 4km Family Stroll perfect for prams, little legs, and leisurely walkers

Dress to Impress – Nature Style!
Add a splash of fun to your stride with nature-themed outfits. Think leaf crowns, flower garlands, or camo prints – perfect for little explorers (and big ones too!).

After the walk or run, continue the fun at the Dianella Community Centre Open Day.

Here’s what to expect:

  • Welcome to Country & Smoking Ceremony
  • Scenic 4km route through the wetlands
  • Food vendors and community stalls
  • Kids activities and fun at the Dianella Community Centre
  • Coffee available after completing a quick event survey
  • A chance to meet your neighbours and explore this growing community hub

Do you or your family require some mobility assistance? That’s ok! Travellers Aid are a proud supporter of the Wetlands Stride and will have volunteers available supporting people in (power assisted) wheelchairs on the walk. To book this service, please contact events@blueeventproductions.com. *Limited spots available.

Compete with friends or just have fun, either way, lace up your runners, gather the family, and join us to celebrate nature, community, and the vibrant future of Tarneit!
