Brought to you by a diverse and friendly group of local mums. Everyone is invited to help make it a great time!

MamaBubba Picnics are a monthly meet up for mothers and babies where we facilitate stimulating topics and connect in a real, heart felt way, while relaxing on picnic rugs!

Regular ~ reliable ~ relaxed

(No bookings, no charges)

Bring a picnic blanket, some snacks and come along for a chat.

GUEST SPEAKER this Month is Lizzie from "Tulsi and Sage" (Lizzie we LOVE this business name - the names of two beautiful herbs).

Guest speaker topic: "Let's talk burnout, sleeplessness and survival for mums"

MORE GENERAL INFO:

Gather in circle on rugs at ten am and then enjoy facilitated Mum Chat Talks/Speeches by special guests from ten fifteen am.

(The picnics are all-weather events, if it cold and drizzly, wear a poncho, meet under shelters, it is hot and sunny, we sit in the shade!)

Frequently asked questions

What age baby?

Mums usually gather with mums and bubs on laps, but also, mums who love to connect and keep touch, come along with crawlers, toddlers and even older kiddies. All welcome. The fully fenced play park is great for allowing all ages to find something suitable.

What is the main goal of the picnic?

We just LOVE that mums have a good time together! And that as mums of older kids we can generously gift our time to facilitate that. We know how hard mumming is, we have kids of our own!

Organised by

Natalie Meade's community work, running events as fundraisers for the Newcastle Birth Movement Project.

Currently located at 21 Gordon Avenue, Hamilton (Inside a shared community space called "Pachamama House" Pachamama or Pacha mama comes from the quechua language. Pacha means 'world' and mama means 'mother', and can therefore be translated as Mother Earth. It represents the Goddess that exists in all elements of nature. It is the spirit of the land, and it is central to Andean and South American cultures.
