The Marketing Academy is thrilled to invite you to hear from the fantastic and hugely inspiring Paul Berney to present his thoughts on "The Rise of the Connected Marketer".
In this presentation Paul argues that we are seeing the rise of The Connected Marketer as a direct response to the changes around us. His presentation looks at what it means to be a Connected Marketer, what skills are required and the role that mobile plays at the heart of this.
Paul Berney's Bio:
Paul is the CEO and Founder of mCordis with almost 10 years of experience in mobile marketing.
Previously as Chief Marketing Officer & Managing Director of the EMEA branch of the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA), Paul lead the MMA’s global marketing efforts and more specifically the activities involving more than 150 member companies in EMEA.
He has over 25 years experience in a wide variety of sales, marketing, business development and commercial roles spanning several different industries and market sectors including automotive, printing, internet development and management consultancy.
Paul has been a speaker at over 250 mobile events, in 37 countries to a combined audience of over 40,000 people. In 2012 he was recognised as the leading speaker on mobile marketing worldwide by C-Squared. He is a Business Leader in The Marketing Society, writing regularly for its blog, a Fellow of the Institute of Direct & Digital Marketing (IDM), a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a mentor in the Marketing Academy. He is a judge of the annual European Loyalty Awards, the Card & Payments Awards and the Mobile Innovation Awards.
He was recently invited to join the editorial Board of the IDM and was voted one of the Top 50 influencers in mobile marketing in the UK by The Drum magazine 2013.
