It is envisaged that we will cover topics such as:
The overall responsibilities of the treasurer;
The role of the treasurer in the financial record keeping of the community organisation;
The role of the treasurer in preparing a budget for the community organisation
The role of the treasurer in preparation of the financial statements of the community organisation;
The role of the treasurer in preparing a regular financial report for the committee;
How to assess the financial performance and financial position of the community organisation;
The role of the treasurer in the internal control of the community organisation; and
The role of the treasurer in the risk management of the community organisation.
This online workshop will be interactive and engaging. It is only open to members of the Tasmanian community involved in community organisations.
