Join Tracey on an 8-week journey into the wonderful world of wheelwork.
You will be guided through the intricacies and subtle nuances of the pottery wheel, giving you the expertise and confidence to shape your own unique and meaningful creations.
Course dates and times:
- Thursday 1 May to 19 June
- 9.45am - 12.15pm
You will recieve 1x10kg bag standard white stoneware clay upon commencement of term. If you use this clay and require more, you may purchase clay through the studio at an additional cost.
Please note: Additional costs will apply for all firing at $15 per kilo. Firing costs are not included in the term fee.

- You are wearing closed in shoes - no shoes with open toes or heels, no high heels, no sandals, no thongs
- You are wearing appropriate clothing - wheelwork is messy.
- Your fingernails are cut short
- Your hair is tied back
Bookings are essential and numbers are strictly limited.
The minimum number of students for each class is 6, please be advised that cancellations may take place 24 hours before. We will endeavor to offer you a place in another class or alternatively offer you refund

Class Cancellation or Substitute Teachers
Due to illness, unforeseen circumstances or where a suitable substitute is not available and a class has to be cancelled, you will be contacted via email and by SMS 30 minutes prior to the class starting. In these situations, either a class refund will be processed, or an additional class will be added to the term dates.
Extra support/Medical Conditions
Please notify staff if you or your child require extra support during classes, have a medical condition and any relevant allergies that we should be aware of.
Refund Policy
You will not receive a refund once a course has started for classes you miss for non-attendance. You may receive a refund on the following:
• A cancelled class due to tutor illness or unavailability
• You have tested positive to Covid-19
• Long term illness
• Personal reasons, such as bereavement
You will not be offered a refund in instances of conflicting scheduling on your part.
Parking
Parking is available at Manningham Council MC2 building. There are two ways you can access the building – through the Doncaster library entrance on ground level or via the elevators from the MC2 underground car park.
The library entrance may be closed after hours. In which case, please enter via the underground Carpark at MC2 and take elevator to Level 2, exit right, turn left along walkway to the art studios.
Please note: Carpark entry gate automatically closes at 8pm but has a sensor for exiting as you leave at the conclusion of your class.
Staying COVID Safe
All staff, students and visitors to Manningham Art Studios are required to comply with current COVID Safe practices and legislative requirements. If you are unwell, please stay home. We suggest you get tested for COVID-19. We request that students and visitors who have recently tested positive notify us at artstudios@manningham.vic.gov.au or by phone 03 9840 9382.
