Join our exciting seminar with international guest speaker Professor Ruth Endacott, who will discuss the UK National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) strategies, emphasising the pivotal role of research-active hospitals and clinician researchers in tackling complex health challenges. Learn how these strategies drive equitable healthcare, enhance patient outcomes, and accelerate the translation of evidence into practice.

Professor Ruth Endacott is Director of Nursing and Midwifery at NIHR, providing leadership for nurses and midwives who are supporting, delivering or leading research. Ruth is Emeritus Professor at Monash University, Melbourne & Trustee at the Intensive Care National Audit & Research Centre (ICNARC).

The event, available both in-person and online, will be hosted by Professor Sandy Middleton, Director of the Nursing Research Institute—a collaboration between St Vincent’s Health Network Sydney, St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, and Australian Catholic University—along with Dr. Nicola Straiton, Senior Research Fellow at the Nursing Research Institute.
