As part of Better Care Together program responding to mental health crisis and suicidality, Queensland Health propose that future service design and investment be guided by an agreed Crisis Care Framework. The Framework will consider the services, workforces, practices and partnerships required for effective crisis care system.
The Framework once developed will aim to:
o Provide a shared understanding of initiatives being implemented through Better Care Together and related plans
o Inform how initiatives are being implemented, highlighting their key features and how they may work together to improve crisis care
o Help communicate with people with lived experience and other stakeholders about crisis reform and enhancement
o Offer guidance to local services on opportunities to improve local and regional responses to people in crisis.
We would like your support, input and feedback to help test, extend and refine the concepts which will shape this Framework.
