General Manager | Ellis Developments QLD

Sarah Wheatley is the General Manager of Ellis Developments QLD, with over 21 years of experience across residential construction and human resources. She leads the delivery of more than 120 homes each year and has successfully navigated the business through complex industry challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sarah is a state and national Master Builders award-winner and an active mentor in the EWIC (Emerging Women in Construction) Program. Known for her strong leadership and operational efficiency, she is committed to driving business performance while supporting the growth and development of individuals across the construction industry.

Nicole Drew

Construction Operations & Admin Manager | Front Foot Constructions Australia

Nicole Drew is the Construction Operations and Admin Manager at Front Foot Constructions Australia, with over 15 years of industry experience. She has helped grow the company from a sole trader to a team of 23 delivering tier 1 commercial and residential projects.

Nicole holds a Bachelor of Nursing, Cert IV in OHS, Cert IV in Training and Assessment, and is currently completing a Diploma of Project Management. A strong advocate for apprenticeships and women in trades, Nicole was awarded the 2022 Master Builders North Queensland Women in Building Award for her leadership and impact.

Hannah Leith

Executive Manager - Client Services | Tec-NQ

With over 20 years of experience in marketing and stakeholder engagement, Hannah took an unconventional path to Tec-NQ, holding a graphic design qualification rather than a traditional trade. After building a successful print and marketing business in the corporate world, she felt driven to give back to the community. She now uses her business expertise to support local trade businesses and apprentices and loves nothing more than to share the incredible opportunities in vocational education and business in our region.

Hannah is passionate about strengthening industry connections, promoting trade training, and helping young people launch successful careers. With the help of the incredible Tec-NQ team, Hannah plays a key role in bridging the gap between education and industry through strong, practical partnerships.
