Tuft a custom Rug Workshop Melbourne

What you'll doIn this fun, hands-on class, you’ll discover the art of tufting to create a unique custom rug you have designed!

This workshop is designed for beginners and all you need to do is pick a design! Choose from our stencils and inspo or BYO!

During the workshop, you’ll receive guidance on using the equipment and materials while creating something amazing.

Class schedule:

• Welcome and introduction to equipment and safety protocols. Learn how to use a tufting gun, including adjusting speed and how to use a rug carver.
• Choose your design, use our stencils or BYO and draw it on your canvas!
• Choose from a variety of yarn colours and start tufting!
• Apply backing glue or latex to your rug and let dry.
• Learn how to level and carve to clean up your creation.
• Adhere your rug to your rug backing fabric.
• Show off your unique tufted rug art!!

You’ll leave with a newfound skill and a beautiful handmade rug project to showcase in your home.
