Can I BYO alcohol?

BYO alcohol is prohibited at Tulips After Dark and bag checks will occur on entry. The Tulips After Dark bar will be open during the event, offering locally-produced wine and beer.

Can I BYO food?

There will be various options for a light meals available for purchase at the event. Picnics and BYO takeaway food options are permitted.

Is Tulips After Dark an over 18 only event?

Tulips After Dark is an all ages event. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

What are the opening hours for the event?

Tulips After Dark starts at 6:00pm and finishes at 9:00pm. The service of alcohol at the bar will cease at 8:30pm.

What happens if it's raining?

Tulips After Dark is an all-weather event and will not be cancelled or postponed unless the conditions are extreme.

What happens if I am unable to attend on the evening I booked tickets for?

Tulips After Dark tickets are non-amendable and non-refundable under any circumstance. Please make sure you consider the dates before booking your tickets.

Can I bring my pets to Tulips After Dark 2024?

Tulips After Dark is a humans-only affair! Please leave your furry friends comfy at home. We are having a 'Dogs Day Out' on September 30, the final day of Tulip Time 2024. More details on this are yet to be announced.

Is there an ATM on site?

There is no ATM available on site. The nearest ATMs are a short walk to the main street of Bowral, you will find the following: NAB 256 Bong Bong St, Bowral and COMM Bank 344 Bong Bong St, Bowral. This event has a cashless entry. Stalls may offer cash and EFTPOS sales at their discretion.

Is Tulips After Dark accessible?

Tulips After Dark is wheelchair, mobility scooter, and stroller accessible. The gardens are level with interconnecting paved paths. Accessible parking is available on Wingecarribee St and Merrigang St. There are accessible amenities on site and an accessible point of entry.

Where can I park?

There is no designated parking for the event. Motorists are encouraged to consider the following public parking options including: Eastern end of Merrigang St, large carpark on Merrigang St opposite Corbett Gardens, Coles carpark off Wingecarribee St and the large parking bays on Station St.

Can I get to Tulips After Dark via public transport?

The train from Sydney Central Station to Bowral Station is 1.5 - 2hrs. The train from Canberra Kingston Station to Bowral a is 3 - 3.5hrs. Please refer to Transport NSW for more details.

I'm a Wingecarribee Shire Resident, do I need to book and pay for a ticket?

Yes, locals must book and pay for tickets for Tulips After Dark.

The 80,000 mass-planted tulips nestled among blossoming mature trees in Corbett Gardens, Bowral, are the centrepiece of the Tulip Time Festival where there is daily live music , an array of boutique market stalls and lots of photo opportunities.
