ou will walk away with a gorgeous two-tier cake you have decorated yourself, a from-scratch recipe, timeline guidance for events and a bundle of knowledge about creating stacked cakes! This class is for beginners, no experience necessary.

You’ll get instructions and lots of helpful tips as you create a two-tier buttercream cake.

What’s included:

- instructions and guidance to cut, fill, stack, crumb coat and ice a basic buttercream cake

- instructions to create a semi-naked finish (a different technique to above)

- two vanilla cakes will be pre-baked for you to create a two-tier cake

- instructions on how and when to use dowels to support cakes

- instructions on how to prepare fresh flowers to place on cakes

- the chance to decorate the cake in your own design, using the fresh flowers, sprinkles and piping tips available

- a take home recipe booklet for the cake and icing

- a timeline guide on creating cakes for events

- knowledge of how to transport, store and cut your cake

- ongoing support for your baking adventures through an exclusive Facebook group.

All you need to bring along is yourself! The workshops will be hosted at Cake Tinz n' Thingz, which has free parking available. Closed in shoes are required at this venue. There will be a 20-30min lunch break in the class - you can bring a lunch and a fridge and microwave is available for use. Minimum numbers are required for this class. If they are not met three week prior to the class you will be notified and given options, though this class is expected to go ahead.
