About this event

Makerspace events are 18+ years only.

In this workshop you will use Pilot Parallel Pens to learn how to write modern Uncial letters and discuss some of the many variations of these letters used in Medieval times. Between the 4th and 8th Centuries CE Uncial and its related script styles were widely used across Western Europe for manuscripts, some of which survive today, e.g. The Book of Kells and The Lindisfarne Gospels.
