We invite all family members and carers to join us for an information session about finding the right home for your loved one. Information sessions will be held in the south east, west and north in November.
We understand that this may be the biggest transition of your loved one's life, and we are here to support the whole family throughout the journey.
This session is for anyone who:
- has spent their whole life caring for a loved one with a disability, but is beginning to plan for the future and consider next steps
- has a loved one who currently lives in Specialist Disability Accommdation, but wants to understand alternative options
- has a loved one who has Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) funding in their plan, and is trying to find their new home
- wants to understand the process of checking eligibility and applying for funding
- just wants to understand how disability housing works and how we can help.
Come along and hear from our Chief Operating Officer Ben and our Accommodation Managers Courtney and Justine who can share their knowledge and answer all of your questions.
We'll also provide a checklist for all the steps you need to take to make sure you have the right funding in your NDIS plan.
