The Victorian Refugee Health Network State-wide meetings bring together people from across government, health and community services. In this November Statewide Meeting, you will hear updates about policy, health, settlement and data, with speakers from the following agencies and groups:


  • Refugee Council of Australia
  • AMES Australia
  • Settlement Services International
  • Victorian Refugee Health Network
  • Rural and Regional Consultation Group

Guest speakers will also be present at this Statewide Meeting, presenting on community projects and sector resources related to Interpreter Use, Language and Communication.

The Victorian Refugee Health Network was established in June 2007 (launched in 2008) to facilitate greater coordination and collaboration amongst health and community services to provide more accessible and appropriate health services for people of refugee backgrounds. We work to develop responsive health service systems that meet the needs of people from refugee backgrounds, including asylum seekers.
