About this event

Cumberland City council would like to invite young people aged 12-24 to participate in a free volleyball clinic.


Partcipant requirments

  • Must be aged between 12-24
  • Must have a parent stay on site if under the age of 16
  • bring along a water bottle and hat.
  • Must follow all the terms and conditions below.



Youth Terms & Conditions

I have read, understood and agree to the terms outlined in this activity:

* I confirm that I am the young person registered on this form or that I am parent/guardian giving permission for the child/ren attending to this school holiday program.

* I agree to listen, participate and respect the youth workers and other youth attending the program.

* I will not use any violence, misbehaviour, and disrespect towards youth, community and staff.

* The minimum age to participate in this program is 12 years old and maximum is 18 years old, unless otherwise stated. I confirm that participants are in this age category and as parent/guardian over the age of 18 I hold full liability for incorrect information. I agree all information is correct and understand any false information will have me removed from this program and future programs and events. I also understand as council is a Child Safe organisation, false information regarding my child/ren age could result in a report to family and community services made by a Cumberland Council Officer.

* Cumberland Council and its service provider attempt to minimise any risk of personal injury to its participants. I understand that Cumberland City Council and its service provider are not liable for any loss or damage to personal property which is suffered or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with this activity.

* Strictly for young people who live in the Cumberland Local Government Area. Proof of residence and age may be required.

* I agree that I will aim to arrive prior to the commencement of the session and understand the activity / event can occur without me if I am late. If I arrive more than 10 minutes late to the session my child/ren's spot may be given to someone else.

* Cumberland City Council reserves the right to remove any participant from the program when staff or an instructor believes the participant presents a safety concern, is disruptive, or acts in any manner that is detrimental to the program.

* In the case of an emergency, I authorise Cumberland City Council staff, where it is impractical to communicate with me, to arrange for my child/ren to receive any medical or surgical treatment/s that may be required. I also undertake to pay or reimburse costs which may be incurred for medical attention, ambulance transport and medication as a result of my child/ren participating in Cumberland City Councils School Holiday Program activities

* Any personal information provided by you on this form will be used by Council or its agents to process this application

* Once your information has been collected by Council, the information can be accessed by you and may also be available to third parties in accordance with Council's Access to Information Policy

* If the participant is under the age of 16 parents or carers must stay onsite.

* I agree to contact Council at least 48 hours prior to advise cancellation of booking. Failure to abide by this rule may result in you/your child/ren being removed from all future programs.
