National Walk Safely to School Day is a community initiative aimed at raising awareness about the multitude of benefits from regular walking, especially to and from school. Now in its 26th year, this annual celebration encourages parents and educators to teach road safety skills and support the importance of regular walking, not just on May 16, but every day.
