0730 Please arrive at the Warwick Railway Station, Brosnan Crescent Warwick QLD. Free parking is available. Show your printed ticket upon arrival. You will be allocated a railway carriage and seat. Toilets are available on the platform. Please ensure all your luggage is labelled with your name and mobile phone number.
0800 Depart Warwick Railway Station.
1115 Arrive at Inglewood Railway Station. A local volunteer group will provide lunch with coffee and tea (included in your ticket).
1245 Depart Inglewood Railway Station.
1500 Arrive Goondiwindi Railway Station.
Sunday 4th May
0730 Please arrive at the Goondiwindi Railway Station. Free parking is available. Show your printed ticket upon arrival. You will be allocated a railway carriage and seat. Toilets are available on the platform. Please ensure all your luggage is labelled with your name and mobile phone number.
0730 Please be at the railway station.
0800 Train will depart Goondiwindi for Warwick.
1200 Arrive at Inglewood Railway Station. A local volunteer group will provide a lunch with coffee and tea. (included in your ticket).
1700 Arrive back at Warwick Railway Station.
NOTE: Snacks, coffee, tea and alcohol are available onboard. Toilets are available on the train.
Please stay in your allocated seat (whilst not moving around) during your entire journey.
THINGS TO DO AND SEE IN GOONDIWINDI: The Goondiwindi Show is on this weekend, Botanic Gardens, Customs House Museum, Gunsynd the Goondiwindi Grey, Natural Heritage & Water Park, Euraba Paper Company and the main downtown area.
Please note…
Please plan to arrive at the Warwick Railway Station, Brosnan Cres, Warwick at least 45 minutes before departure.
Please also bring along a copy of your email issued ticket, either printed or on your phone, for all family members.
If you would like to sit in a carriage with friends that have booked tickets separately from you, please email events@downsexplorer.org.au to advise the name the tickets were booked in and the number of tickets booked ASAP. If you do not call and let us know, you may be seated in separate carriages.
We make every endeavour to ensure that tours operate as advertised. Unfortunately, this may not always be possible owing to unforeseen circumstances such as total fire bans or mechanical failures. In such events we reserve the right to make whatever changes are necessary, without compensation. However, any changes made will only be after we have exhausted all reasonable efforts to provide the tour as advertised.
Where steam is unavailable, we will replace it with the Heritage Diesel Locomotive.
Times shown on brochures are subject to approval of the relevant authorities and could differ on the day. Correct times will be advised on your tickets or by special email.
Some services may cancel at short notice. You will be notified by email and an automated refund will be arranged..
