Watercolour -Still Life
Come and join us for a fun and creative day of Watercolour Painting. This will be a hands-on workshop perfect for beginners. Watercolour is an artwork that has been practiced for centuries. This class will teach beginners some simple techniques on colour mixing and brushstrokes using still life as the subject matter.
Instructor
The workshop will be facilitated by Kath Forbes. Kath has been teaching visual arts for almost 40 years with many of her students gaining entry into Art Express. Kath also has a long association with the Just Been Laid egg farm family having been supporting us since day one by helping here at the farm through the drought and other adventures that mother nature has thrown at us. The opportunity to showcase her talents in workshops at our new venue is very exciting and I know we will have people wanting to return many times once they get to know Kath and her relaxed, fun style combined with skills and insights that have been garnered over many years of teaching.
Workshop Location
This workshop is being held at our new event venue located at our farm on the beautiful Allyn River just 15 minutes from East Gresford. This beginners class will be ideal for anyone with a love of nature and will be great fun for people looking for an enjoyable country drive to a homely destination with magnificent views.
Lunch and Refreshments
Tea and coffee will be available throughout the workshop and mid-way through we will sit down to a lovely country lunch.

Age
As we are a working farm with heavy machinery, a river and livestock very close by this class is for those aged 12 and over.
