    Join us for a rejuvenating weekend retreat this winter! Take a well-deserved break and immerse yourself in nature's embrace alongside fellow carers. Nestled at the foothills of the Brisbane Ranges National Park, our program will offer an opportunity for relaxation and connection. Wander the scenic nature trails, share stories around the warmth of a campfire, and enjoy the company of kindred spirits in a nurturing and safe environment. Come unwind, recharge, and rediscover the joy of simply being.


    Eligibility Criteria

    • Identify as an informal carer.
    • You or your care recipient reside in the Moorabool or Macedon Shire.


    There is no out-of-pocket expense for carers to attend.


    Registration is essential. Once you register an Out Doors Inc. staff member will be in touch to provide more details about the event and confirm your eligibility.


    When:

    • Saturday 7th to Sunday 8th of September 2024


    What to Bring:

    • Comfortable clothes and walking shoes
    • Warm jumper, gloves and a beanie for comfort
    • Water bottle and sun hat
    • Sleeping bag or comfortable Bedding


    What’s included:

    • Transport to and from location
    • All catering
    • Shared Accommodation

    Out Doors Inc. (Out Doors) is a state-wide not-for-profit organisation that provides outdoor adventure programs for people living with the challenges of mental health.

    Using outdoor education with an emphasis on action, challenge and risk-taking, our experienced, qualified Program Coordinators deliver programs that include rafting, hiking, rock climbing and surfing, and creative programs like bush art and music as a means of providing rehabilitation, skill development and integration in the community.
