Join us for Wellness Within, a rejuvenating workshop crafted for BIPOC health professionals, allies, and all committed to public health! This event is a space to reconnect with cultural well-being and embrace community care as a form of self-care, especially in challenging times when coming together makes us stronger. Led by health practitioners and community members, we’ll delve into issues impacting culturally and racially marginalised (CARM) communities and explore hands-on community care techniques to support both ourselves and those we serve. Through interactive discussions and art therapy, Wellness Within affirms that self-care is a necessity for those in the caring professions—nurturing ourselves so we can nurture others.
Wellness Within also highlights the importance of cancer screening awareness, addressing the low turnout often seen in CARM communities and empowering health professionals to advocate for accessible, inclusive care.
Supported by Drummond Street Services with catering by Cultural Catering, this workshop promises to be a culturally inclusive and informative experience you won’t want to miss!
