    Want to uncover your Aboriginal or Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander family history, but don’t know where to start? The Who's Your Mob? Workshop offers you an opportunity to engage directly with State Library of Queensland researchers, resources and collections available for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander family history research. Build your research skills and begin your journey in a friendly, culturally supportive space.

    The workshop will take you through:

    • birth, death, marriage records,
    • station, mission, police and church records;
    • newspapers;
    • photographs;
    • the Tindale and Margaret Lawrie Genealogical collections; and
    • military records

    To maximise participants' experience, places are strictly limited, so book fast to secure your spot.

    Past participants of the Who's Your Mob? workshops are welcome. Participants are encouraged to bring your own laptop/ipad.

    Light refreshments will be provided.
