About this event

Welcome to our first Women's Gathering & Ecstatic Dance event! Join us for a day of sisterhood, movement and play at Ewingsdale Hall. This event is an opportunity for like-minded women to come together, express themselves through dance, and build community.

Zero dance experience or preparation is needed; in fact, the more daunting it may sound to dance, the bigger the opportunity for it to be a healing experience.

This event is child-free, an opportunity for mamas and women to connect and spend a little time for themselves.

Light snacks and hydration will be served.

We can't wait to see you there!

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to bring anything?

The simple answer is, no! But you can definitely bring some extra hydration if you like, and make sure you're wearing clothes you feel free to move in.

What is ecstatic dance?

Every ecstatic dance container is unique, but the intention with this space and day is to allow women to drop into their bodies and move freely. Dancing with the lights on can be so confronting for many, which is where the magic lives. Come play and reconnect with your inner child!

Is there a DJ?

Camille was been hosting ecstatic dance regularly while she was living in Mexico, and decided that no DJ is more aligned with the intention of ecstatic dance as a healing place. There is no one there standing/ watching you, which typically facilitates more surrender for the dancers!

What if I can't make it on time?

To enable others to drop in fully without doors opening/ closing, please make sure you can arrive before 11.

Can I bring my baby?

If you think your baby can sleep in the pram during the ecstatic dance portion of the event (11 am-1 pm), yes. The intention with limiting child/ baby attendance is truly for your benefit- to be able to be present and spend some time nurturing yourself.

Can I bring my child/ children?

Due to the nature of ecstatic dance and the degree of presence required to stay embodied and reap the healing opportunity that dance can offer, please come without your children!
