About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

WestStar Martial Arts is holding a women's self defence workshop.

This will be a great introduction to learning simple, direct, effective self defence techniques and strategies to defend yourself against a range of attacks.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve never done martial arts before, the workshop will be a great experience as you learn realistic, useful self defence skills designed to empower you.

While we hope that you would never have to use it, learning self defence can give you the confidence and knowledge to act if the unthinkable were to happen.

WestStar Martial Arts teaches the Northstar Ju Jitsu system - a modern, practical, powerful, easy to learn self defence system that integrates the best elements of Ju Jitsu, Judo, Kickboxing and Taekwondo.

We recommend comfortable workout gear (you'll be working on your feet as well as on the ground), and you may also want to bring some water and a sweat towel.

Registration is essential.
