SPRING GARDENING

Spring is a time when gardeners can get lost in emerging growth and pests! In this workshop we will cover what the key activities are to undertake in spring to get your garden prepared for both summer and autumn.

Date: Saturday 6 September, 2025

Time: 1-3pm

Location: Woolgoolga Regional Community Garden, 79 Scarborough St, Woolgoolga NSW 2456

Fee: $10 per person, bookings required.


About the Facilitator

Karla Gillies is a dedicated environmental scientist with over 30 years of experience in food and wildlife gardening, conservation, and community action. Karla has spent her life nurturing the environment and inspiring others to do the same. Her expertise ranges from creating thriving gardens that support local wildlife to leading conservation projects that protect precious ecosystems.


This Sustainable Living Series is designed to help you cultivate a thriving garden, nurture healthy soil, and deepen your connection to the environment. From composting and seed saving to permaculture and seasonal gardening. Explore our other workshops on the Coffs Harbour Libraries Website.

If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time, and you have not notified us, your spot may be allocated to another person in the standby queue.
