The Western Integrated Family Violence Committee (WIFVC) is hosting a series of 'Working in the West' Communities of Practice (CoP) sessions to enable cross-sector knowledge transfer by bringing together practitioners from a broad range of services in the western region.
The ‘Working in the West’ CoP series aims to breakdown silos between sectors by promoting insights into how different practitioner roles intersect with family violence responses in the western region and foster the development of relationships and enhance cross sector collaboration.
The sessions feature focused conversation with session leads speaking about the nature of their role and how their work intersects with family violence responses, with an opportunity for Q&A between practitioners in the western region
WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS SESSION?
Practitioners in both the specialist family violence workforce and in workforces that intersect with family violence within the western metropolitan region of Melbourne.
WHAT IS THE COST?
The CoPs are free to attend but you must register as there are limited places available.
