Todd and Verena run a hay and cattle operation. Their focus is on good quality beef (droughtmaster) breeders. They practice rotational grazing and dry season supplementation with home grown feed.

This Yarn on a Farm is an animal husbandry information session for both new and seasoned farmers, presented by a practicing local vet, covering:

• health basics, feeding and handling for cattle, goats, poultry.
• how to do the basics and add new techniques to your old routines.
• biosecurity basics and human health around livestock.

Take a look around their newly adapted cattle yards and talk to other producers and landcarers. Ask questions!

Share your experiences and learn from others. Let's discuss how to avoid costly mistakes and poor animal outcomes, making your farm more fun and more profitable!

• This is an on-farm event.
• Wear clean shoes - don't bring YOUR farm to THEIR farm.
• Follow the signs and park where directed.
• The exact location will be emailed to guests a couple of days before the event.
• Free event but bookings required.
• BYO own chair.
• BYO water bottle and stay hydrated.
• Please wear suitable clothing, footwear and insect repellant.
• Be sun safe - slip, slop, slap.
• Tea/coffee etc provided but we'd love you to bring a plate of morning tea to share.
