Michael has over 20 years' of claims & risk management experience, including with St Paul Travelers Insurance, previous Queensland Law Society professional indemnity insurers, a Lloyd’s underwriting agency, and a wholesale financial lines broker.
As an in-house claims counsel, he triages and advises about policy disputes, insurance issues, financial loss, internal dispute resolution and risk management. He has also run his own risk management consultancy.

Jess has 15 years of underwriting experience working at both insurers and underwriting agencies in Sydney and Brisbane.

Jess joined Berkley Insurance Australia in December 2021 and enjoys working with her brokers to find solutions for their clients.

How do I get the Members Discount?
The YIPs Members code is available to registered members only via the members only section of the YIPs website, visible once you have logged in.
You will need to enter this Member code whilst selecting your tickets on Eventbrite. Please ensure you select "Enter promo code" before heading to the “Check out”.
What is the refund policy?
Refund on tickets purchased are available via the Eventbrite website up to 7 days before the event. After this date, no refunds will be available on tickets purchased unless due to special circumstances.
