About this event

The Yorke Peninsula and Mid North Regional Plan is now open for consultation.

This community drop-in session will give you the opportunity to meet with members of the Regional Planning Program to discuss the vision for the region's future and ask any questions regarding the Plan that you might have.

About the Plan


The Plan was developed using insights gathered from the community and stakeholders, ensuring that local perspectives are reflected in the planning process and meet the needs and complexities of the region.

Each regional plan is a comprehensive strategy designed to guide the sustainable development of these regions over the next 15 to 30 years, with a focus on long-term land use, infrastructure, environmental stewardship and economy. Planning for growth is essential to ensure that these regions remain sustainable and prosperous.

This is your opportunity to learn more about the regional plan, ask our team questions, and find out how you can provide input into key initiatives such as:

  • where new housing and jobs should be located
  • how transport networks should evolve to improve connectivity to major cenres and smaller townships

  • walk you through the display
  • highlight areas of interest using maps
  • present the digital regional plan
  • provide an opportunity for Q&A
  • explain how to provide feedback.
