Have you ever looked at an artist’s work and thought “I wish I could do that?” Well, here’s the truth – you probably could! Ok, so maybe you won’t be an exhibiting artist in one workshop but here’s another truth – all exhibiting artists began somewhere and, often, in one workshop. And, while we talk truths, let’s share secrets too … Did you know that pretty much every single artist who ever existed began by copying the masters? Yep! We have to learn from someone, so why not the best?

Each month you will be introduced to the work of one artist. You will be guided through their inspiration, their techniques and why and how they made their work. You will be shown tips and techniques to emulate their work and then … this is the best part … YOU be the artist! You will be guided through the process of making your own work in the style of the artist and you will create your own masterpiece!

Artists will be selected from a range of mediums, styles and periods to to allow for broad creative exploration as well as learning a variety of tools and techniques as you build a skillset that you can bring to all your artmaking.
