About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Come along to make your own stained-glass inspired artwork. We'll start the workshop outside doing a series of experimental outdoor nature drawings. Back inside the gallery we'll use stencil cutting to turn your experimental drawings into a series of colourful stained-glass-inspired artworks for your window.

For ages 12-16

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:

Spence Messih is a multidisciplinary artist and writer who teaches at UNSW Art and Design and has exhibited work at the Murray Art Museum, The MCA, QAGOMA, Artspace, Firstdraft, and London.

Spence’s more recent work explores the limits and boundaries of glass as an inherently fragile medium. He has a keen interest in the interplay between history and archives.
