Ganymede Truffles
Ganymede (Ga-nuh-meed) is located in New South Wales in the Southern Tablelands just outside Marulan with the name chosen after a course in astronomy at the Sydney Observatory.
It is a truth universally acknowledged that some eat to live whilst others live to eat. At Ganymede we subscribe to the latter.
It is our love of food that lead us to establishing our first trufferie back in 2009 after their rich musky aroma stole our family’s cold black hearts.
Found underground amidst the dark rocky soil and roots of Corylus, Robur and Ilex trees we tend to them by hand and lovingly unearth them with our ever faithful hound once they’ve ripened.
Our love for truffles runs as deep as our trufferies roots, so much so that if we are not fully satisfied with their look, smell and colour we will not sell them.
Truffles are a premium product and at Ganymede we want to ensure you have a premium experience.
