Merge Dating Code of Conduct + Terms & Conditions

1. Compliance and Consequences: Failure to comply with these guidelines will result in guests being removed and permanently banned from all Merge Dating Singles Events.

2. Respectful Behaviour: All guests are expected to treat others with respect and kindness. Merge Dating is a safe space for everyone, regardless of ethnicity, race, gender, body size, religion, disability, identity, or sexual orientation. Any form of targeted abuse, harassment, violence, discriminatory or hate speech, or content towards other guests or staff will not be tolerated. Incidents should be reported to any Merge staff member present.

3. Age Requirements: Attendees must be over 18 years old. The age ranges provided are guidelines, with a maximum permissible deviation of 5 years on either side. Non-compliance may result in removal from the event.

4.  Personal Information: Exercise caution when sharing personal information that could reveal your location, financial details, email address, or social media profiles. Protect your personal information until you establish trust with others.

5. Accurate Information: Providing false or misleading private or personal information is prohibited. Violators will be removed from the event.

6. Illegal Activities: Engaging in illegal activities at our events is strictly forbidden. Offenders will be removed and reported to the appropriate authorities.

7. Media Release: By attending a Merge Dating Event, you waive any copyright or intellectual property rights to any photos, videos, recordings, or other multimedia captured. You acknowledge that you will not receive any payment or consideration for these materials. You release Merge Dating, its employees, and agents from any liability connected with the publication or use of these materials.

8. Behavioral Conduct: If, in our reasonable opinion or that of our service providers, your behaviour poses a danger to yourself or others, causes damage to property, breaches any local laws, is abusive or threatening, creates a public nuisance, or violates venue or security instructions, Merge Dating reserves the right to cancel your booking without a refund and ban you from future events.

9. Personal Risk: Participation in certain activities at our events may involve personal risk. By purchasing a ticket, you accept full responsibility for any damage, loss, or expense caused by you or anyone named on your booking.

10. Alcohol Consumption: Guests may consume alcohol but must do so responsibly. Merge Dating accepts no liability for any injury, cost, expense, loss, or damage resulting from impaired judgment due to alcohol or drugs.

11. Drug Policy: Merge Dating has a zero-tolerance policy towards illegal drugs. Possession of illegal substances will result in removal from the event and possible notification of law enforcement.

12. Sexual Misconduct: Merge Dating enforces a zero-tolerance policy on sexual misconduct. Any act of unwanted sexual behavior, harassment, or violation of another person's consent, will result in immediate removal from the event and potential reporting to authorities.

13. Responsibility for Interactions: Attendees are solely responsible for their interactions with others. Merge Dating does not conduct criminal background checks on attendees and makes no representations about their conduct. However, Merge Dating reserves the right to conduct background checks or other screenings at any time using available public records.

14. Event Safety and Decision-Making: The venue owners and Merge Dating representatives will make decisions based on safety and the well-being of guests. Merge Dating is not liable for any loss of enjoyment or similar claims due to changes made in the interests of safety.

15. Personal Belongings: Guests are responsible for their own belongings. Merge Dating accepts no liability for the safety of personal possessions. While efforts will be made to locate lost property, there is no guarantee of recovery or return.

16. Future Contact Disclaimer: By providing us with your email and phone number, you agree that we may contact you about future events and opportunities. If you'd prefer not to receive these updates, you can opt out at any time by letting us know.

17. Right to Ban: Merge Dating reserves the right to ban attendees at its discretion. All decisions are final.

18. Ticket Purchases and Gender-Specific Events. Guests must purchase the correct ticket for their gender as specified in the event description. If a guest purchases the incorrect ticket, Merge Dating reserves the right to refuse entry without a refund.

19. All attendees must comply with the venue’s policies and procedures

20. Gender Ratios and Event Attendance. Merge Dating monitors ticket sales to strive for balanced gender ratios at all events. However, due to factors such as last-minute registrations, cancellations, or no-shows, we cannot guarantee an exact balance. Attendees understand and accept that the ratio may fluctuate despite our best efforts to maintain fairness and balance in the event.
