Nangak Tamboree Wildlife Sanctuary

Nangak Tamboree Wildlife Sanctuary is an area of River Red Gum Woodland, dedicated to the conservation and restoration of native Australian flora and fauna. We have managed this land for over 50 years, and over time the Sanctuary has become a leading educational facility - La Trobe University's Outdoor Laboratory.Nangak Tamboree Wildlife Sanctuary is open to the public from 10am to 3pm Sunday to Friday. There is also an indigenous nursery on site with over 300 species available.
